Coming April 22 NASA will be broadcasting the Earth in high definition. Fans of the Earth and HD can view high definition images of the Earth broadcast on NASA television.
The images that will be shown, starting April 18th, were taken by Astronauts on shuttle trips and shots from the space station. Time to celebrate Earth Day HD style.

I simply don’t have words to express the magnificent achievement of doco making this series achieves. I was simply taken aback by the large number of global locations visited in each episode. You’ll visit at least 4 or more different global locations in each episode, it’s unheard of in doco making simply due to budget constraints. The picture quality is nuts, if your going to get this series, get it on blu ray. The pack even comes with a little pamphlet saying this series was shot using the highest possible photography available so make sure your blu ray player is upto date. A gorgeous exploration of our God given planet!

We have had this TV for a few weeks now and all I can say is WOW!! The picture is absolutely amazing, we can’t quit staring at the brilliant colors and detail. I am especially impressed at how there is no glare. Our old TV had a terrible glare problem in our bright room, but this one has none at all. The 40-inch size is very good for an average-sized family room, and the picture looks great from multiple angles.

this was a true trip into a dark journey following the path of characters and scenes only the coen bros. could bring to and capture on film. breathtaking imagery and on the edge of your seat scenes. an exceptionally well made movie and very deserving of an oscar nod.

We have a 110″ screen with a 1080p front projector at home. We’ve watched lots of regular DVDs at home and I haven’t being totally happy with the image quality. But now, with the addition of this Blu-ray player and (good) Blu-ray source discs, I’d have to say that we are FINALLY experiencing true home THEATER.

Great Player February 19, 2008
This player is fantastic. It does not have that long of a load time for any disc that I have put into it, whether new or old blu ray or sd dvd. Picture and sound is amazing. Only draw back is to get the HD audio you have to use either the multi channel output or HDMI(which is this way for all blu ray). My aduio receiver only has optical or digital coax so I’m not getting the full uncompressed audio. But it still sounds amazing. Great buy even though it isn’t profile 1.1

I bought mine right after getting a Sharp Aquos 37 inch TV. They work together greath and I haven’t had so much as a burp. It plays both Blu-Ray and standard DVD’s with great pictures and audio.

My wife and I went to see her Vegas concert in 2004. We were both blown away with her performance and stage presence. Every penny spent is soo worth it. If you think her CDs are awesome, seeing her perform live is definitely an experience you’ll never forget. I just ordered this Blu Ray version and I cannot wait to get it in the mail.
